AFGE Council 238 and its affiliated locals constitute a union of highly dedicated employees working within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) nationwide. Members are dedicated to the protection of human health and the environment, and ensuring that the environmental acts, laws and regulations of our country are carried out.

MCBA Negotiations Update # 2

On Monday, May 3, 2010, AFGE Council 238 President Charles (“Chuck”) Orzehoskie submitted a letter to U.S. EPA Assistant Administrator Craig E. AFGE Council 238 submitted its Draft Ground Rules for Negotiations - Union 1 (May 24, 2010) for the negotiations on Monday, May 24, 2010, which included information on exchange of proposals by the Union and management.

What's Next?

Agreement must first be reached by the parties on the ground rules.

Then, negotiations will begin per the schedule laid out in the agreed upon ground rules.
